Ah Christmas, my most favourite time of year. As much as some of you may be trying to deny it, its getting closer and closer! I try to be as organised as I can be, as time seems to slip by that little bit quicker at this time of year!
The weather has really turned this week, which has really got me thinking about my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. I am starting to pack away the light t shirts and cropped trousers and getting out the jeans and jumpers!
Until recent years I have not been a fan of a Christmas Jumper. I used to think of Christmas Jumpers as something fun for Children, something cute and fun just for them. But as each year goes by I am warming to them more and more.
Its only in the last 3-4 years that I have started wearing winter jumpers, and even then I haven't really had the guts to stray past a Grey jumper. Infact I am mentally scanning my wardrobe as I type this and yup, 3 out of the 4 jumpers I own are Grey!
Maybe its the time of year thats made me want to buy the colour Grey or maybe its just because I think that Grey is a good 'go with anything' colour?! I dont know, but what I do know is that I keep seeing ladies wearing more bright and colourful jumpers. I think to myself, they look great, if they can pull it off why can't I?!
Whilst browsing the internet and pondering about Christmas Jumpers the other day I came across Woolovers.com. It was as if they read my mind because right in the middle of their homepage was a link to the Christmas Jumpers!
Now I am not sure I am ready to be as daring as some, I don't think a jumper with a big cartoon like reindeer is for me just yet! But I do think that this Ladies Fair Isle Jumper is something that I would be comfortable wearing. I really like the pattern across the top, I like that it is only across the top, meaning the jumper over all is not too busy. It does remind me of Christmas in a subtle way, which is the look I am trying to go for. My only problem with this jumper is choosing a colour. I really like Foxglove Pink and the Soft Turquoise. But are they Christmassy enough?! Should I be going for the Rich Rose instead?! What do you think?!
So this leads me into my next set of questions.
What do YOU think of Christmas Jumpers? Are they a must have winter wardrobe item or do you think they should be left in the 90's?!
I have got to be honest, I am really swaying towards them this year!
