A trip to the Seaside... in March...

Here in Kent it was relatively dry at the weekend, so when we woke up on Sunday morning to blue sky's we decided to head down the seaside to blow the cobwebs away!

Chester and Millie have been saving up their 2p's so we headed straight for the arcades! I loved the fact that they had lots of these low down 2p machines that fling the 2ps high up. It meant that the Children were able to do it all by themselves. We spent quite a bit of time in there, Millie managed to win a small pink pony, and Chester got a medal and a doctor who toy!

Next we headed down to the sea front, where we spent some time throwing stones into the sea and looking at all sorts of different shells.

Of course you can't go to the seaside without eating some chips!

We even managed to fit in time to go in the park!

It was a really lovely day. We have been lucky with the last 3 weekends that we have been able to get out in the fresh air. Dare I say it, the weather is finally starting to look a little better, meaning we can make the most of all the beautiful free places this country has to offer!

What did you get up to at the weekend, was the weather as kind to you?!
