Hello London. Book review & giveaway!

London. Living in Kent it's somewhere we are lucky enough to be able to visit fairly often. Chester is always fascinated by the different sights and sounds in London, he is very inquisitive. Millie is just starting to observe what's around her in more detail, so has started asking questions about things she sees and likes.

We were recently sent Hello London by Marion Billet. From Campbell books to review.

It is a first book of London landmarks, a big bright board book which has easy to use mechanisms, designed specifically for toddlers. The illustrations are packed with detail and things to spot. Turn the London Eye, open and close Tower Bridge, take a ride on the Tube and even visit Buckingham Palace!

Chester and Millie had a great time exploring this book. At School at the moment Chester is learning about transport so he loved it! He was reminded how much he loves a ride on the Tube and has told me that he would like to ride a London bus. So that is top of our list for our next visit to London! Another big fascination for him was Tower Bridge, somewhere else we have never taken him, but after seeing how much he loved it in the book it certainly is on our list of must see's!

Millie responded really well to the bright pages, she loved pointing things out on each page, especially the birds and also the baby who has dropped it's teddy on the Tube page! She was very concerned!

The book is recommended as best for one years plus and I would agree with that. A one year old may struggle to use some of the mechanisms at first, but Millie soon understood what she needed to do, whilst Chester was a pro from the start! Both Children love the book and take different things from it. One thing is clear though, they both seem to get very excited about London!

I have one copy of this book to giveaway! All you need to do to enter is answer the question on the rafflecopter form below, their are additional entry methods too but only the question answering is mandatory. The giveaway will end at midnight on Sunday 16th February, all other terms and conditions can be found on the rafflecopter form.

Good luck!
