Don't you just hate Telesales calls?!

WARNING!!!! Rant post coming up!!

Cold callers or telesales callers as they are also known have been on my mind a lot lately, Millie is teething. Badly. So we are not getting very much sleep at night time, therefore having her naps in the day time is essential (for my sanity if not anything else!). But recently, that has become harder and harder. All because of cold callers!

 On our phone we have an option to block numbers, but because of the high number of cold callers over the last few months we have actually run out of blocking space! What is so annoying is that even if you tell them you are not interested and to stop calling you they still do.

Its not just at a set time of day either, being a stay at home mum (in the day time) I am at home a lot more than most and can receive cold calls upto 10 times a day, from morning, noon and night someone will call. It always wakes Millie and messes up my one on one time with Chester whilst Millie should be asleep.

The other day we even had a cold call at exactly 9am on a Saturday morning, when for once we were all having a lye in. I was so annoyed.

I mean how exactly do they get my number? I am ex directory and I never give out my home phone number, always my mobile. How many times do I need to tell someone I am not interested for them to listen?! It is actually getting worse, I have come home before seen a message on my answer phone, pressed play only for it to be the tail end of one of those PPI claim messages! Nothing gets rid of them! Even pressing 9 to be taken off the mailing list!

I have tried getting Chester to answer the phone for me, that works as they put the phone down but they will just call back another time.

So I am all exhausted out of ideas of how to get rid of/stop the calls. What do you do to get rid of the telesales calls? Does it annoy you as much as it annoys me?! I would love to hear your views!
